Nick serves as a clinical pharmacist in Fort St. John (FSJ), Northern BC, where they have created a versatile position split between the FSJ Hospital and the Long Term Care (LTC) facility attached to the hospital. Their role involves providing clinical pharmacy services to patients in both acute and long-term care settings, collaborating closely with other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

Nick’s decision to relocate to Fort St. John has had a profound impact on patient care in the area. By establishing themselves as the first clinical pharmacist at FSJ’s LTC facility, Nick has been instrumental in enhancing the quality of care provided to patients. Their expertise is valued by other healthcare professionals, and Nick actively advocates for interprofessional collaboration, fostering a culture of teamwork and communication. Through direct interactions with physicians, nurses, dieticians, speech-language pathologists, and others, Nick ensures that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care tailored to their needs.
