Brief description of role or responsibilities
Kris supports and oversees Pharmacy Operations and Clinical programs for the small (“yet mighty”, as she says) hospital sites in LMPS (Chilliwack General Hospital, Eagle Ridge Hospital, Langley Memorial Hospital and Ridge Meadows Hospital), as well as the two pharmacy distribution centers at VPPC and PDDC.
Description of how they are a great mentor or has positively influenced you and the pharmacy profession:
Kris is an experienced and thoughtful leader who is committed to investing her time to assist in the growth and development of her team members (and beyond). She always finds the time to offer her advice and share her extensive experience regardless how busy her day is. She leads her team with endless energy, enthusiasm and devotion, and guides them through decision-making. Kris always leaves space for those she leads to bring their own style, offering and coaching them through the decision process, but not prescribing her solutions or decisions. She exemplifies very graciously the power of curiosity, which creates inclusion and leads towards supporting and encouraging the development of those around her to help them achieve their goals.
