Brief description of role or responsibilities
Pharmacy technicians are involved with the drug distribution at Lions Gate Hospital. From ordering medication, receiving, packaging, IV admixing and the topping up and maintaining the ward Omnicells.
Technicians are involved with filling and checking of patient medications, ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner.

I am constantly impressed with the way our team works together in a professional manner to ensure patient care on the wards starts with the care that Pharmacy Technicians put into their job.
