Karyn holds a clinical practice in Critical Care and works across Surrey campuses to support Office of Experiential Education practicum students as well as Practice Educators.
Describe how the individual or team made a positive contribution to patient care or their pharmacy department:
Karyn has shown great leadership and initiative in her role as EEF. Karyn has worked hard to incorporate staff and student feedback to improve the experience of both groups during rotations. Karyn does not shy away from challenges and manages practicing in a high acuity area and her practice educator duties with poise.
Karyn also contributes to research and quality improvement initiatives at SMH – what can’t this woman do? Karyn, we are so lucky to have you as our EEF and a Clinical Pharmacist.
