Brief description of role or responsibilities​

Julia Lloyd is a Clinical Pharmacist at BC Children’s & Women’s Hospital + Health Centre who supports the Complex Pain Service, Complex Chronic Diseases Program and Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Sunny Hill Health Centre who joined the C&W pharm-ily in June 2025.

Describe how the individual or team made a positive contribution to patient care or their pharmacy department:

Clinically, Julia has taken on an impressive scope of responsibility, managing three complex practice areas: the Complex Pain Service, Complex Chronic Diseases Program, and the Acute Rehabilitation Clinic at Sunny Hill Health Centre. Her ability to navigate these diverse and challenging clinical environments speaks to her strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and dedication to high-quality patient-centered care. She approaches each role with professionalism and thoughtfulness, earning the trust of both colleagues and interdisciplinary team members.

Since joining the C&W Pharm-ily, Julia has demonstrated enthusiasm, initiative, and a genuine commitment to fostering a positive and connected workplace culture. Julia has actively participated in the Social Committee helping to plan the Christmas party, organize the annual Christmas cookie exchange, and co-led the Pharmacy Awareness Month Committee. These activities created meaningful opportunities for team engagement and morale building.

In addition to her clinical and social contributions, Julia has been a committed educator and teammate. She is consistently willing to step in to help colleagues whenever needed providing supportive mentorship. Julia’s generosity with her time, collaborative spirit, and positive attitude have made a meaningful impact on our department, and we are grateful to have her as part of our team!
