Iona Berger is a CTU Clinical Pharmacist at BC Children’s Hospital
Describe how the individual or team made a positive contribution to patient care or their pharmacy department:
Iona is an excellent preceptor during my rotation at BC Children’s Hospital and really helped me to improve my patient care process to become the best pharmacist. She was also a great role model for interprofessional collaboration skills as a highly valued member of the ctu team. Iona was an amazing source of knowledge- she was able to balance providing valuable advice and feedback.
Iona has always been a kind, inspiring and encouraging influence since the first day I interacted with her. I am extremely grateful and very privileged to have Iona as my preceptor. She is always going above and beyond expectations and acts in the best interest of the patient, which makes her a valuable team member and an excellent role model within the pharmacy profession.
Thank you for her consistently patient and kind demeanor. She really inspires me to continuing chasing my dreams to become the future clinical pharmacist.
