Dr. Ming Chang is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Liver Transplant at Vancouver General Hospital.

We are jointly submitting a mentor profile for Ming whom we had the privilege of working alongside and learning from while covering the liver transplant service.
Ming has consistently been a dedicated mentor who generously shares his expertise and actively supports the growth of members around him. He is always willing to make time to answer questions, review complex cases, and offer practical insights from his clinical experience. His deep knowledge of pharmacotherapy in cirrhosis and liver transplant management, combined with his commitment to staying current with the latest evidence, has been invaluable to our team. Ming has a remarkable ability to translate complex concepts into clear, practical teaching that is easy to apply in clinical practice.
What truly sets Ming apart as a mentor is his approachability, encouragement and patience that he brings to every interaction. He fosters a safe and supportive learning environment by normalizing questions and mistakes, allowing us to feel comfortable seeking feedback which has positively influenced how we support our own learners and colleagues.
