Pharmacy technician at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. Broad skillset includes BPMH, IV mixing, Omnicell superuser, dispensary, ATC machine! All on a strong background of community pharmacy.
Describe how the individual or team made a positive contribution to patient care or their pharmacy department:
Sabrina is a powerhouse technician. She is constantly striving to ensure patients are receiving medications in a timely manner and that the department is running smoothly. She is an excellent communicator with other members of the healthcare team when working in dispensary and with patients and their loved ones at the bedside when she is working BPMH. She is incredibly detail-oriented and loves to learn and take on a challenge. Sabrina is always encouraging co-workers and acknowledging others’ hard work which brings the team together.
