Brief description of role or responsibilities
Stephanie is an experienced clinical pharmacist in general medicine. A significant aspect of her practice includes precepting pharmacy residents and fourth- and second-year pharmacy students. In her role as Experiential Education Facilitator, Stephanie coordinates rotations for UBC pharmacy students and provides support for preceptors and students across multiple sites in Interior Health. She also teaches, provides mentorship, and participates in the development of the Interior Health Pharmacy Residency Program.

Stephanie has an incredible reputation as a clinical pharmacist, preceptor, and Experiential Education Facilitator. She consistently makes a positive impact for patients, healthcare team members, students, residents, and colleagues. As a clinical pharmacist, Stephanie expertly models the ability to see patients holistically and imparts this on her learners. As a preceptor, Stephanie is supportive and provides real-time feedback that is both positive and constructive. She realizes the importance of open communication with her learners, which results in a highly productive learning environment. Stephanie supports a network of pharmacy students and preceptors across Interior Health. Despite this immense role, she always familiarizes herself with each learner and provides individualized guidance. Stephanie is invested in helping others grow within the pharmacy profession. She provides kindness, unwavering support, and genuine care in the journeys of many pharmacy learners and new clinical pharmacists. She is the go-to person for clinical guidance and mentorship for precepting. Stephanie embodies excellence in clinical pharmacy and clinical teaching. We are grateful for her dedication and far-reaching impact in Interior Health and beyond.
