Brief description of role or responsibilities​
Nicoline has been a clinical pharmacist at JPOCSC Pharmacy since July 2025. She provides clinical pharmacy services to the Heart Function Clinic and also offers cross‑coverage for other ambulatory care clinics, including Home IV and the Rapid Access ID Clinic.
Describe how the individual or team made a positive contribution to patient care or their pharmacy department:
Nicoline joined JPOCSC Pharmacy after completing her PGY1 residency in 2025 and quickly became a valued member of the department. Across her work with Heart Health and other ambulatory care clinics, she has consistently demonstrated professionalism and a strong commitment to patient centered care. While she is still building confidence in some areas and occasionally takes time to look up information, she approaches learning with diligence and continues to strengthen her clinical practice.
Within the Heart Health team, Nicoline enhanced workflow efficiency by proactively managing follow ups and reducing the triage burden on others. She sought clarification appropriately, demonstrating sound clinical judgment and contributing to smooth day to day operations. During her televisits, she built rapport with patients effectively and clearly explained medication changes and care plans.
Nicoline has been an exceptional addition to the JPOCSC Pharmacy team — we are truly happy to have her!
