Florian is our Clinical Pharmacy Educator, working in clinical areas as well as in leadership roles. He is helping to create and update orientation materials, onboard new hires in various clinical areas, all while holding his own patient load.
Describe how the individual or team made a positive contribution to patient care or their pharmacy department:
Florian has done an excellent job onboarding pharmacists providing the ever-important Best Possible Medication History, an extensive interview conducted with the patient or caregivers to determine which medication therapies are valid and current to a patient’s care. He has demonstrated leadership and initiative in his role, ensuring that this valuable service is done with exceptional quality.
Kudos to Florian for promoting the BPMH pharmacist and this crucial service!
