Brief description of role or responsibilities
Alyssa Azote is a clinical pharmacist who joined our C&W pharmacy team in 2025 after completing her Year 1 Pediatric Hospital Pharmacy Residency. She has been providing clinical pharmacy services in maternal fetal medicine, pediatric surgery and pediatric specialty medicine since joining our team.
Describe how the individual or team made a positive contribution to patient care or their pharmacy department:
Alyssa is thorough, organized, caring and approachable, all of which makes her an excellent clinician. When not providing direct patient care, Alyssa is an active member of the pharmacy department. At journal clubs and case presentations, she asks insightful questions that elicit discussion and learning. Alyssa’s organization and professionalism have continued to shine in her involvement with the holiday party planning committee and as a member of this year’s PAM committee. Alyssa continues to shine as she has taken on the role of preceptor to entry-to-practice PharmD students. Welcome to the Pharm-ily Alyssa!
