Describe how the individual or team made a positive contribution to patient care or their pharmacy department:
Jessie is a residency-trained clinical pharmacist who I work closely with on the Liver Transplant service, and her impact on our team has been incredible, from patient care to workflow to overall morale.
Jessie pairs strong clinical expertise with exceptional patient advocacy, always going the extra mile to educate patients and set them up for success. She has taken the initiative to create and implement tracking tools that ensure important follow-ups don’t fall through the cracks, and she actively contributes to research and projects that improve how our team functions. Despite all of this, she still finds time to precept learners.
Jessie brings a positive energy to the team and is a joy to work with. Thank you for everything you do! Our patients, our team, and our profession are better because of you.
